Trail starts with a steep descent....
At base of "steps".....
Very first stretch of trail (viewed from base of "steps")....
Further along (where a hatchet had to be used to clear fallen tree from path)...
Still on the western wall of a complex series of steeper canyons, further ahead on the trail....
And, the End of the Trail! (About 60 yards, to burned out redwood tree stump and an overlook of a very steep area).
