Nevada’s Green Party candidate for Governor, David Curtis, makes urgent call to local governments and private citizens…

Sierra foothills, California

It’s a two pronged call that David Curtis, the Green Party’s offering in Nevada for the office of Governor, is making:

1) Local governments need to look at their statutes and codes in place today, right now, and remove all impediments they can find to new business startups and 2) individuals need to explore green businesses (which are still being slighted in the incentive department, unlike the big projects now underway and soon underway) and determine their aptitude for starting up a business themselves:

Over the last several weeks of this blog’s existence, I will share “Ideas for Nevada” that different people are putting out there, as it now seems we will be facing a possible $3 billion shortfall (half of the operating costs of our budget).

Give me a heads up on your ideas or those of others that you run across:

And, I will begin sharing them here.
